Quality Automation Engineer
Job Description :
Quality Automation Engineer positions offered by Fisher Asset
Management, LLC (Plano, TX). Design and deliver automation and
automation framework for products with a quality approach. Design,
configure and set up quality engineering tools, both on-premise and
cloud based, to drive application development efficiencies and
improve operational stability of the applications. Develop tools
and processes to increase automation of testing and adherence to
security and audit systems and controls. Integrate and configure
additional tools/frameworks as needed, to support and enable
automation of various testing activities across the enterprise.
Foster the adoption of test automation, performance and test data
management tools and capabilities across technology groups. Develop
enterprise scale test automation frameworks that can be leveraged
across technology organizations. Work with Quality Engineering and
Application Development team leads to define Quality Engineering
processes, standards, tools, best practices, execution strategies,
roadmaps to connect current designs to long term architecture, and
monitor to drive adherence to processes. Collaborate with DevOps
and Integration teams to integrate test automation suites as part
of the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/deployment
frameworks. Implement strategies for improving or further
leveraging DevOps/test automation processes and tools. Monitor
system availability and performance within agreed upon timelines.
Resolve issues, alerts, and incidents based on predefined service
level agreements regarding system availability, performance, and
service levels. Perform root cause analysis and oversee
communication and coordination with other departments on lapse in
services. Collaborate with engineers, providing assistance,
guidance and training as required.
Minimum Requirements :
Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in management
information systems, computer science, electrical engineering or a
related field and 3 years of experience in the position offered or
3 years of experience performing software testing and test
automation of web and API based solutions. Also requires 3 years of
experience: utilizing automation and test data management tools,
including Test Complete Pro, Ready API, Service vPro, NeoLoad,
GenRocket, and Delphix; utilizing test management tools, including
Zephyr Scale, Zephyr Squad, TestRail, gTest, and HP ALM; testing
applications developed using SDLC methodologies, including agile
methodologies; building and maintaining test automation frameworks;
utilizing DevOps tools, including Github, Jenkins, Artifactory,
Ansible, Tosca, AppDynamics, Splunk, and Octopus Deploy; developing
software using scripting languages including Shell Scripting,
Groovy, Python, Java, JavaScript, .Net, and Powershell; utilizing
Atlassian tools including JIRA and Confluence; developing software
with enterprise applications. Requires 2 years of experience:
implementing behavioral drive development (BDD) and test-driven
development (TDD); utilizing relational database tools, including
MSSQL, MySQL, SQL, Postgres, and MongoDB; utilizing integration
test automation frameworks with DevOps pipelines in private and
public cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure; and working in a
regulated industry. Position reports to Plano, TX office.
Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy but must
live within commuting distance of stated office. Experience may be,
but need not be, acquired concurrently.
